Privacy Policy Statement

JOBE Internet Service posts this privacy statement to advise clients and potential clients of privacy practices for JOBE Internet Services located at www.jobe.net.  If a client feels JOBE is not following by it’s posted privacy policy, they should contact JOBE Internet Services by email at info@jobe.net.

Collection, Use, and Security of Client Information

JOBE Internet Services is the sole owner of information acquired on this site.  JOBE will not sell, share or rent this information to others in any way different from what is disclosed in this policy.  The only place JOBE collects information is on our On-Line Sign-up Form.  This information is used only to establish new accounts.  When a client chooses to sign-up online they are re-directed to JOBE’s secure server.  A client can verify the page is secure by noticing a small padlock icon at the lower left of their monitor.

JOBE Internet Service takes every precaution to protect our client’s information.  When information is submitted, it is protected both on and off-line.  Our on-line sign-up form, when submitted, is encrypted with security software (SSL).  All of our client’s information is used only in-house.  Only employees who need the information for specific tasks are given access to this information.  All employees are updated regularly on changes in our Privacy Policy.  Equipment, servers and hard-copy files are in a secure location.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of information stored on the user’s hard drive when a web addressed is accessed.  When the user terminates a session the cookie also terminates.

A client may choose to not accept cookies by adjusting settings in their browser however, doing so may limit some accessibility to JOBE pages.

Some advertising partners may also utilize cookies on our site, however, JOBE has no access or control over these.

Log Files

JOBE uses IP addresses to track user’s movement, aid in technical support, gain demographic information, and maintain the site.  IP addresses are randomly assigned.

Links

The JOBE site contains links to other sites.  JOBE Internet Service is not responsible for privacy practices of sites to which JOBE may be linked.  For information on the privacy policy on these sites we advise our clients to visit these sites.  JOBE’s privacy policy applies only to information collected on this site.

Service, Site and Maintenance Updates

JOBE emails a Welcome letter as well as courtesy reminders of payment due.  JOBE will also notify, by email, of special Holiday hours and information of scheduled service and maintenance when required.

Once an online signup is received we will contact the client at the telephone number provided, or by email to verify the user name and password as well as offer technical support on Internet setup  on the client’s system.

Changing or Correcting Client Information

If a client wishes to terminate their account or change information on their account the can do so by contacting us by phone or by email at accounts@jobe.net.  Clients will need to provide to JOBE the security information decided upon when the client first established a JOBE Internet account before any changes can be made.  If the client does not have this information they will need to present identification to us in person before changes may be made. Only the account holder of record can make changes to an account.  Account information is given to the account holder only.  Upon receiving their request JOBE will endeavor to fulfill their instructions.

If JOBE changes any aspect of this Privacy Policy it will be posted on our site as well as updated on this page.  If at any time JOBE decides to use the information acquired from our clients in a manner other than those stated in this document, those clients affected will be notified by email.  Users will always have the choice to allow their information to be used in a different manner although, at this time, no information collected is shared with other entities.
